A New Orleans donut shop is closed after thieves drove their pickup truck through front of the business before stealing the store's ATM.
It happened after 4:30 a.m. at the Tastee Donuts on Esplanade Avenue near Broad Street.
According to our partners at WWL-TV, witnesses said they saw a pickup truck smash into the building, causing them to run out of the back of the business to protect themselves. Employees said two armed men got out of the truck and tried to shoot security cameras. The suspects eventually used the truck to remove the cash machine before driving away.
Employees told a WWL-TV reporter that there was no money in the ATM.
