After several false starts, a new trial date has been set for the four teenage defendants charged with second degree murder in the death of Linda Frickey.
Jury selection is scheduled to begin November 20, the Monday before Thanksgiving, for 18-year-old John Honore, 17-year-old Briniyah Baker, and 16-year-olds Mar'Quel Curtis and Lenyra Theophile.
All defendants are being tried as adults.
Frickey died in a brutal carjacking in March 2022.
Security video showed four individuals stealing her vehicle, dragging her alongside for one block with her arm entangled in her seat belt, until her arm was torn from her body.
Frickey was pronounced dead at the scene.
