Three homicides across two parishes kept officers of both parishes busy Saturday into Sunday.
Saturday afternoon, in the Sixth District off Thalia and South Robertson, two people fired upon while in a stolen car.
A 17-year-old was hit and died at the scene.
The other victim escaped injury and fled the scene on foot.
Then, just after 11pm, a woman was killed on Franklin Avenue in the St. Roch neighborhood.
She was also in a car when fired upon, she suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was declared dead at the scene.
Finally, just after 1am Sunday morning, Jefferson Parish Sheriffs found a man dead outside of an apartment on Elm Street near Versailles.
He was transported to a local hospital for treatment, but succumbed to his injuries.
A second male victim was located inside one of the apartments with a minor wound to his face that may have been caused by gunfire.
That victim was treated on the scene by emergency medical personnel.
