Video: Women shooting out of vehicle near Superdome

NOPD investigators are searching for two women they want to question in connection with a shooting on the Interstate.

The video shows two women firing shots from handguns out of the windows of a vehicle cops say was on the I-10.

At least a dozen bullets are fired.

It comes from a social media video discovered by detectives and released by the NOPD.

Police say they are looking for India Fazande and Erica Settles.

Here is the news release from the NOPD:

Members of the New Orleans Police Department are requesting the public’s assistance in locating 21-year-old India Fazande and 20-year-old Erica Settles as persons of interest in connection with illegally discharging a firearm from a motor vehicle on the interstate. The offense occurred on October 16, 2022, on U. S. Highway 90 at the Loyola Street Exit.

According to investigators, officers were alerted to a video posted on social media that depicted two women illegally discharging multiple rounds from the passenger side of a vehicle in motion while on the interstate.

Throughout the course of the investigation Erica Settles and India Fazande have been developed as persons of interest in this investigation. Both women should be considered armed and dangerous.

This reckless act placed motorists traveling on the interstate and the community in imminent danger of being seriously injured or killed.
