LSU pitcher Paul Skenes has raised tens of thousands of dollars for a charity that benefits families of servicemen and women and first responders.

Thanks to the right-handed ace, Folds of Honor has received nearly $50,000.

The non-profit provides educational scholarships to the family members of military and first responders who have fallen or been disabled.

Skenes' effort got a big boost when Raising Cane's founder Todd Graves kicked in $20,000.

Graves also helped raise money for LSU's food pantry by buying a large round of Jell-O shots during the College World Series, in the Rocco's Pizza and Tavern College World Series Jell-O shot challenge.
