
Since last Monday, another 86,776 people in Louisiana have received at least one shot of the coronavirus vaccines. With 2,176,967 people having at least initiated the vaccine series, that is 46.7 percent of the state.
Another 50,103 Louisianans have received all shots, and that is an increase of nearly 22,000 people reaching that milestone compared to last week's numbers. A total of 1,806,044 have had all their shots. That is about 38.8 percent of the state's 4,657,757 residents.
Everyone age 12 and older is eligible to receive at least one of the three authorized vaccines.
