We have some much-needed rain in the forecast for the weekend.
"Expect a very warm and humid weekend," said WWL-TV meteorologist Alexa Trischler. "Today, we'll likely have some scattered showers and storms, especially north of the lake throughout the late afternoon and evening."
Alexa says we should plan on rain happening overnight.
"We could see an isolated sever storm and some heavier rain," she said.
