There was some frost across Southeast Louisiana early this morning following a cold front.

"Enjoy a sunny, cool and quiet stretch of weather this week," WWL TV Meteorologist Payton Malone forecasts. "The next couple mornings will be cold with areas of frost, but the afternoons will be nice in the 50s and 60s."

It will be chilly tonight into tomorrow morning with lows to mid 30s north of the lake and upper 30s for the Southshore.

We'll start to warm a bit tomorrow for afternoon high.

The next rain chance comes this weekend, maybe late Saturday into Sunday.

"Right now, the highest chance for rain is late Saturday, but timing of the rain is far from set in stone. Expect changes in the forecast and check back daily to see how things are evolving."
