Rain is in the forecast for Sunday, but it is looking like the worst of the story weather will be late Sunday night... after the Bacchus parade.

"We will remain warm and humid through the weekend...and I'm also thinking mostly dry for our parades," WWL TV Chief Meteorologist Chris Franklin forecasts. "Models have been trending much drier for Saturday and really only indicating storms late evening/night for Sunday."

He says Bacchus, may wrap up before rain moves in.

"The rain and some storms late Sunday into early Lundi Gras come in with a cold front."

"Temps will peak early Monday in the mid 60s, then drop staying in the 50s through the evening, as well as breezy. Mardi Gras day begins chilly in the 40s and only warms to the mid and upper 50s...but we will see mostly sunny skies."
