Connecticut reports zero COVID-19 deaths for 1st time since March

HARTFORD, CT (1010 WINS) -- Connecticut has gone 24 hours without anyone dying of COVID-19 for the first time since March, Gov. Ned Lamont said Tuesday. 

Lamont on Tuesday reported zero new COVID-19 deaths and 57 new cases. 


As of Monday evening, 83 people were hospitalized with the virus, the governor said.

Connecticut on Tuesday also added three more states to the list of COVID-19 hotspots included in its travel advisory: Delaware, Kansas and Oklahoma.
