3 NJ women, one a correctional officer, charged with storming Capitol: report

TRENTON, N.J. (1010 WINS) -- Three more New Jerseyans have been charged with storming the Capitol building earlier this month, according to a report.

Right-wing activist Stephanie Hazelton, who also goes by the name Ayla Wolf, was arrested on Friday after she posted on social media about breaking into the Capitol, NJ.com reported.

Monmouth County correctional police officer Marissa Suarez and New Jersey resident Patricia Todisco were also arrested Friday for allegedly participating in the insurrection, the outlet reported.

Hazelton has been taking part in demonstrations protesting Gov. Phil Murphy's virus-related executive orders and restrictions since the COVID-19 pandemic began, according to the outlet.

Suarez resigned from her job after she was arrested, a Monmouth County spokeswoman told the outlet.

Attorney information for the three women wasn't immediately available Friday.
