Dozens of Conn. COVID-19 vax sites to offer walk-up appointments: Lamont
HARTFORD, CT (1010 WINS) -- Dozens of COVID-19 vaccination sites in Connecticut will no longer require appointments, Gov. Ned Lamont said Monday.
Sites including the Fairfield Health Department in Fairfield, the Yale New Haven Health Clinic in Greenwich and Hartford Healthcare Clinic in Hartford will offer walk-up appointments starting Tuesday, April 27, Lamont said in a press release.
"Transitioning clinics across the state to a walk-up method that do not require an appointment in advance is part of our ongoing focus to make getting vaccinated as easy as possible," Lamont said in a statement.
"If you have not yet received a vaccination, there is plenty of opportunity," he added.
A full list of locations with walk-up appointments is available on the state's website, Lamont said in his release. The list will be updated as more locations begin to accept walk-up appointments.
