NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- An air conditioner fell from a home in Brooklyn and landed on an FDNY firefighter on Monday, knocking him unconscious, according to reports.
The firefighter and more than 100 FDNY members were responding to a fire in Bensonhurst on Monday morning when the air conditioner fell, surveillance video obtained by the New York Post shows.
The firefighter was taken to a nearby hospital in serious condition after the device hit him, the outlet reported.
Five other firefighters sustained minor injuries as they were battling the blaze, according to the outlet.
