NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A social worker employed by New York City's Administration for Children's Services has been arrested for criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a firearm, among other crimes, the NYPD said.
Crystal Soto, 31, was cuffed in the 45th Precinct in the Bronx around 6 a.m. on Tuesday, the NYPD said.
Soto has been charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of stolen property and criminal possession of a firearm, the department said.
Police didn't immediately provide any additional details about Soto's arrest.
1010 WINS has reached out to the Administration for Children's Services for comment on her arrest.
