NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- An attacker pushed a woman onto the subway tracks at a station in Queens on Sunday, the NYPD said Wednesday.
The 26-year-old woman had just gotten off a southbound R train at the Woodhaven Boulevard station in Elmhurst around 4:20 p.m. on Sunday when a male of an unknown age pushed her off the platform and onto the tracks, police said.
The attack left the woman with bruises on her left leg and left palm, but she refused medical attention at the scene, the NYPD said.
The man who pushed her fled the station and hadn't been arrested as of Wednesday, police said. An investigation is ongoing.
