NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A young boy died after he jumped from a building on the Upper East Side Tuesday afternoon, according to police and a report.
The 12-year-old jumped from the roof of a building on Park Avenue, near East 86th Street, around 4 p.m., the New York Post reported.
He was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital, the outlet reported.
The NYPD on Tuesday evening confirmed that a person jumped to their death at the location, but couldn't immediately confirm the person's age.
An investigation is ongoing.
