When asked about what he thought about businesses that have began boarding up in anticipation for any violence following the election, de Blasio answered
said there is no specific threat not giving guidance to store owners to board up "let's not pre-judge and wait for election night ... but we'll be ready for anything."
"Everyone of course, is concerned about the election results and what plays out after," he added.
