NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A subway passenger attacked two NYPD officers as they tried to remove him from a Manhattan station for failing to pay his fare, police said.
The two officers tried to remove the passenger from the Central Park North—110th Street station around 8:45 a.m. on Sunday, police told the New York Post.
As they were trying to remove him, the passenger headbutted one officer and injured the other officer's shoulder, police sources told the outlet.
Both officers were treated at a nearby hospital, the outlet reported.
