NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A 92-year-old man died weeks after he crashed his car while having a medical episode in Queens, the NYPD said Wednesday.
William Rosenblitt, of Fresh Meadows, was driving a Honda Accord north on Brookville Boulevard, near 135th Avenue, in Rosedale around 11:30 a.m. on March 4 when he suffered an "apparent medical episode" and veered right, police said.
Rosenblitt's car mounted a sidewalk, hit a small tree and started to spin, hitting a telephone pole and a parked, unoccupied vehicle, the NYPD said.
He was taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead on Tuesday, police said.
