NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A 22-year-old man has been arrested for randomly shoving a 63-year-old woman onto the tracks at a Brooklyn subway station on Tuesday, the NYPD said Thursday.
The woman was standing on the Queens-bound J train platform at Broadway Junction around 1:30 p.m. when the man pushed her onto the tracks, police said.
The woman suffered a cut to her leg, the NYPD said. She was taken to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center in stable condition, according to police.
The man, whose name wasn't immediately released, faces charges including assault and reckless endangerment, the NYPD said.
