NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- An off-duty Department of Correction employee was arrested for driving drunk early on New Year's Day, the NYPD said.
Shanell Taylor, 30 was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of .08 percent, driving while ability impaired and refusal to take a breath test in the Bronx around 4 a.m. on Jan. 1, police said.
The NYPD didn't immediately provide any additional information about Taylor's arrest. Her attorney information wasn't immediately available Friday.
1010 WINS has reached out to the New York City Department of Correction for comment on Taylor's arrest.
