NYPD officer arrested for throwing slipper at sister during dispute: police

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- An off-duty NYPD officer was arrested for allegedly throwing a slipper at her sister during a dispute, police said.

Rosanna Espinal, 28, was arrested and charged with assault and harassment in Queens around 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday, the NYPD said Thursday.

Espinal is accused of throwing a slipper at her sister after the two got into a fight over the item, police confirmed to 1010 WINS.

The New York Post reported that Espinal was also accused of punching her sister, but police couldn't confirm that.

Espinal's sister was left with some bruises after the incident, the NYPD said.

Espinal's attorney information wasn't immediately available Thursday.
