NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- An off-duty NYPD officer was arrested and charged with aggravated harassment in the Bronx early Wednesday, police said.
Michael Mercurio, 36, was arrested for telephone-related aggravated harassment in the 42nd Precinct around 12:01 a.m. on Wednesday, the NYPD said.
The precinct includes Morrisania, Claremont, Crotona Park East and Crotona Park.
The department couldn't immediately provide any additional information about Mercurio's arrest.
His attorney information wasn't immediately available Wednesday.
