Off-duty NYPD officer charged with DWI after Brooklyn crash: police

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- An off-duty NYPD officer was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after he got into a crash in Brooklyn on Friday, according to police and a report.

Billy Dubuisson, 30, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while ability impaired and refusal to take a breath test in Canarsie around 2:15 a.m. on Friday, the NYPD said.

Police told the New York Post Dubuisson got into an accident at the intersection of East 92nd Street and Farragut Road.

Dubuisson seemed drunk after the crash and refused to take a breathalyzer test, the NYPD said.

Police didn’t immediately provide any additional details about the crash. Dubuisson’s attorney information wasn’t immediately available on Friday.
