VIDEO: Queens Republican club throws maskless holiday party with dozens of guests
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A Queens Republican club threw a holiday party with dozens of guests earlier this month — none of whom were wearing masks in a video taken during the soiree.
The video shows members of the Whitestone Republican Club dancing in a conga line at a party at Il Bacco Ristorante in Little Neck on Dec. 9, the Daily News reported.

None of the club members seen in the video are wearing face coverings. The outlet reported that at least 50 people were in attendance, including City Council candidate Vickie Paladino and former State Assembly candidate James Martinosky.
"We felt it was important coming out of such a highly emotional election that we hold some kind of gathering to bring in the holidays," club board member Robert Hornak told the outlet.
Hornak claimed partygoers were "observing all the COVID guidelines in place at the time," adding that attendees were "told to wear a mask, and everyone had one when entering, or was given one."
Il Bacco and the Whitestone Republican Club didn't immediately respond to requests for comment on the event.
