NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Officials on Tuesday released surveillance footage of a group they are looking to identify in connection to a violent robbery that occurred at a Bronx business earlier this month.

Just after 4 a.m., on Thursday, August 5, a group of six men entered 26 Motors located at 4015 Boston Road in the Eastchester neighborhood by cutting the security gate and breaking the front office glass door to gain entry into the manager's office, police said.

Once inside, the suspects broke through the basement door with a crowbar and were then confronted by a 33-year-old security guard with a bat.

According to the NYPD, the suspects then began to strike the victim with the crowbar causing bruising and pain to his left arm, authorities said.

The suspects then fled to parts unknown in their own vehicles with an undetermined amount of car keys, officials said.

The victim was taken to Montefiore North Hospital in stable condition.

The suspects are described as males, approximately in their 20's.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
