NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A good Samaritan rescued a teenager that fell through the ice of a Central Park pond Monday afternoon, officials said.
The incident happened at approximately 2 p.m. near West 59th Street and Fifth Avenue.
The teen was seen yelling for help while struggling to get out of the water, a video shows.
A bystander who heard the calls for help quickly grabbed a ladder nearby and rushed over several outlets reported.

A second teenager who had also fallen into the pond managed to get out and was seen standing nearby.
EMS tracked down both down teens who had left the scene once they were out of the water, WABC-7 reports.
They were taken to a local hospital to be treated for hypothermia.
