Tent with 2 men inside burns during Washington Heights brush fire

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — A tent pitched in Washington Heights caught on fire Tuesday morning with two men inside.
The fire erupted in the woods off of Edgecombe Avenue and West 167th Street around 6:30 a.m.
Footage from an ABC 7 helicopter shows the two men inside jumping out to safety as the tent becomes engulfed in flames.
The duo walked away from the scene and did not appear injured.
Authorities can be seen speaking with the men while firefighters attempted to access the area to control the fire.
