NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – The NYPD reportedly suspended a veteran officer after she allegedly attacked a rookie officer in the parking lot of a precinct stationhouse last week.
A source told the New York Post that officer Gloria Byrd, who has been with the department for 20 years, "beat up" the three-year rookie on Wednesday night in the parking lot of the 25th Precinct stationhouse in East Harlem.
"She beat up another female cop in the 25 parking lot and then f***ed her up again in the muster room in front of everyone," the source told the outlet, calling it "some girl-drama nonsense."
Video obtained by the Post appears to show an officer chasing and then tackling another officer in the parking lot before other officers intervene.
