VIDEO: Chauvin protesters chant 'we don't want you here' outside Brooklyn restaurant
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – Protesters chanted "we don't want you here" outside a Prospect Heights restaurant on Tuesday evening, video shows.
It happened as hundreds of protesters marched through Brooklyn after former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin was convicted of murdering George Floyd.

Video posted to Twitter shows protesters doing a call-and-response chant near the outdoor dining area of Maya Taqueria at Vanderbilt Avenue and St. Marks Avenue.
"Stay the f*** out of New York! We don't want you here! We don't want you here! We don't want your f***ing money! We don't want your f***ing taquerias owned by f***ing white men!" the protesters chant as diners sit nearby, video shows.
While it appeared the protesters were chanting at diners, a witness said they were directing their chants at police, not the diners. The witness said the protesters didn't purposefully stop at the restaurant but were stopped for traffic and moved on when they were able to.
The NYPD was not called to the restaurant, according to the New York Post. No arrests were reported in Tuesday night's protests across the city.
