NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A video posted to Instagram showed the moment a trash can inside the Times Square subway station exploded on Monday.
"I cannot believe I’m alive and posting this right now. This happened earlier today on my commute to work at the 42nd street NQRW station," Instagram user Kenyettia wrote. "I had no clue what was to come as I was recording."
Two NYPD officers and a woman with two young children who were standing next to the trash ran for cover as the explosion occurred.
There were no injuries reported due to the blast, according to authorities.
