Woman stabs, injures officer responding to call at Brooklyn home: NYPD

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) – A woman stabbed an NYPD officer in the neck as the officer was responding to her home in Brooklyn on Wednesday, police said.
The officer suffered a small puncture wound and was not seriously injured, police told 1010 WINS.
Officers responded to a call about an emotionally disturbed person at a home near Sixth Avenue and 53rd Street in Sunset Park around 4 p.m., according to police.
Sources told the New York Post that Marielee Jiminez, 29, is accused of stabbing the officer with a serrated steak knife as officers were trying to take her to a hospital.
Video obtained by the Post shows the alleged attack.
Jiminez was charged with assault on a police officer, criminal possession of a weapon, menacing and resisting arrest.
