NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- A Long Island man has been arrested for allegedly hiding a camera inside his landlord's bathroom to take photos and videos of her family, police say.
Cristian Marca, 37, was arrested and charged with two counts of second-degree unlawful surveillance on Saturday, Suffolk County police said.
Police said Marca was renting a room inside a house on Case Avenue in East Patchogue. On May 6, his landlord discovered a miniature video camera in a bathroom inside the house, according to police.
Marca allegedly set up the camera and took photos and videos of the home's residents, police said.
Two adults and four children lived in the house along with Marca, police said.
His attorney information wasn't immediately available Monday.
