NY state sets opening dates for two new vaccination sites in NYC, one in Yonkers

NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Two new COVID-19 vaccination sites in New York City and one in Yonkers will officially open within the next two weeks, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Friday.

New community-based sites at Medgar Evers College in Brooklyn and York College in Queens will start vaccinating eligible New Yorkers on Wednesday, Feb. 24, Cuomo said in a press release.

A site at the New York National Guard Armory in Yonkers, meanwhile, will open its doors on March 3, the governor said.

Eligible residents who live in the following ZIP codes can start scheduling appointments at the Brooklyn and Queens sites at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 20 by signing up on New York’s ‘Am I Eligible’ website or by calling the state’s COVID-19 vaccination hotline at 1-833-NYS-4-VAX (1-833-697-4829).
