Jesse 'The Body' Ventura talks Hulk Hogan, WWE Saturday Night's Main Event with BT & Sal

The iconic Saturday Night’s Main Event is returning to its birthplace, as the WWE event is set to take place on Long Island at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum this Saturday.

In anticipation of the event, BT and Sal brought Jesse “The Body” Ventura in studio for nearly an hour to talk about his history in the sport, the rejuvenation of SNME, and a return to WWE’s roots.

“That’s what this is gonna be…what you’re gonna see on Saturday Night’s Main Event is a throwback,” Ventura said, noting that aspects of the event like wrestler entrances will be tweaked to be more resembling of the event’s heyday. “That’s why I’m back...they’re coming in through the crowd. Old-school entrance.”

Ventura will be commentating the event, and several other WWE legends will be making an appearance. But as for Hulk Hogan, who Ventura maintained a not-so-secret grudge against, Ventura revealed that Hogan won’t be in attendance.

“I’ve never hated him. I don’t hate anybody,” Ventura said. “But he won’t be there Saturday. I made sure of that.”
