OH MY GOD! Candelita is coming to Boomer & Gio Live!
As announced on Friday Morning, Jose Iglesias, as his musical alter ego Candelita, will be part of Boomer & Gio Live: We Give Thanks presented by Shinesty on Nov. 22, closing the show by performing his iconic anthem “OMG” that spurred the Mets season!
“I see a lot of us having a good time that night, and the last part of it, I can see the entire audience standing and dancing, and just being happy like we are this morning,” Boomer said after the announcement was made.
“I’m getting legitimate chills thinking about it,” Gio replied. “I know they didn’t win the World Series, and people can roll their eyes, I don’t care – that was a special, special season, and he was a big part of it, and that song now will remind me of good memories forever.”
Iglesias will also be part of the VIP Meet and Greet with Boomer, Gio, and the crew, so those with VIP tickets will get the chance to, perhaps, hold that OMG sign?
“To have him come from Miami in the offseason and perform this and be a part of Boomer & Gio Live, with his dancers and the whole performance, to end the show and send people out of The Paramount after a great Boomer & Gio Live, big smile, all of us singing on stage…it doesn’t get any better!” Gio said.
Candelita joins Adam & The Metal Hawks as musical guests and former Islanders Cal Clutterbuck and Josh Bailey as athlete guests, and there’s going to be a lot more you’ll have to be there to find out about!
If you don’t have tickets already, they’re still available at this link – be there, or miss out!
