
The newest addition to “Jeopardy! Tournament of Champions” has quite the Hollywood resume.
Nick Cascone, currently an orthopedic physician assistant, previously appeared in dozens of TV shows and movies, including “Titanic.”
While Cascone has appeared on more than one episode of “Jeopardy!”, his acting has not been brought up or mentioned by the contestant himself, according to Yahoo.
On the television side of things, Cascone has appeared in episodes of “Matlock,” “ER,” “The West Wing,” and more. While he's been involved in films like the aforementioned “Titanic,” as well as “Mr. Baseball,” “The Cell,” and others.
After his final acting credit, in the Jason Bateman sitcom “The Jake Effect,” Cascone received a Physician Assistant Bachelor of Science from Charles Drew University of Medicine and Science.
His “Jeopardy!” playing began in an episode during 2021’s Season 37. He took home $26,801 in prize money, but ended up losing the next game.
On Nov. 14, 2023, he was back on the game show during the writers’ strike, taking home the win. He’d also claim victory on Nov. 22, reserving himself a spot in the show’s “Tournament of Champions” later in 2023.
During his most recent appearance, Cascone still didn’t mention his acting, but did say what he thought he’d do with all his winnings.
“I think I’m gonna make a big pile of ones and fives and sleep on it like a dragon.”
