As we’re over here fan-girling over red-headed Country royalty, Reba McEntire is here to remind us she is just like anyone else. Which means, yes, she is obsessed with Ted Lasso.
“At first I was like, ‘I don’t know what this is about and then the second episode is like ‘Oh my gosh I’m hooked!’” Reba told Audacy’s Katie Neal of the show on Apple+. “It has such heart. It’s funny, it’s silly, it’s goofy but boy, if you’ve got heart, that’s a winner for me.”

So is the possibility of a Reba cameo in the future of Ted Lasso fans?
“What’s my call time?!” Reba joked when asked if she would make a guest appearance if given the chance. “Would I have to talk as fast as he does?” She laughed.
Ted Lasso cameo or not, Reba is a queen and the proof is in her new triple box set which released today, Revived Remixed Revisited. A walk down memory lane for fans, the project showcases some of McEntire’s biggest hits in different forms.
“I think everything we did was to improve,” said McEntire. “In my way of hearing it, it was all an improvement. Kind of brought it up to speed, up to date, but the thing about these songs — they’re timeless. They will be relevant 50 years from now because they’re just great songs, and I can say that. I didn’t write them,” she laughed.
Timeless is right! Especially when the set includes the very first duet between Reba and Country great, Dolly Parton.
“Unfortunately, we didn’t get to record together because of Covid, but we did get to be in the same venue to do the video, which was a blast!” Shared McEntire. “Any time you get to spend with Dolly is fun and entertaining. We visited about family and friends and Covid and hat we’re doing at home, how we’re passing the time during Covid.”
