Kenny Chesney pulled off an epic surprise for Chicago Country fans over the weekend when he showed up for an Old Dominion pop-up show at a local bar.
Old Dominion announced they’d be playing a free pop-up show at Joe’s On Weed St. bar in Chicago the day before their scheduled performance at Soldier Field as part of Kenny Chesney’s Here And Now Tour. Fans filled the bar and the surrounding sidewalks ready to pre-party for the stadium show with OD, but the show they got was even bigger than they could’ve anticipated.
As it turns out, OD weren’t the only ones who arrived in Chicago a day early, Kenny Chesney also did and he wanted in on the fun!
Mid-show, Kenny shocked fans as he joined OD for a performance of “Save It For A Rainy Day” and the energy was unmatched.
Following an already unforgettable time in Chi town, Kenny and Old Dominion both took the stage at Soldier Field for their official Here And Now tour date along with other tour guests Dan + Shay and Carly Pearce.
The surprises are sure to continue as Kenny’s Here And Now Tour moves forward through August. Get your tickets here.
