After discussing the epic 50th Anniversary of Hip-Hop performance that went down at the GRAMMYs, Meth mentioned how views and spotlights have shifted to shine a brighter light on the genre and culture throughout those fifty years.

Kevin and Method's attention shifted from looking backwards to forward, noting that while there is still a long way to go, the artists of today, though different than the OGs, are continuing to push the needle in the right direction.

“Especially now, with the kids now, whatever they lack in lyrical content for us gatekeepers that love lyrical content, they gain in business savvy. They have generational wealth and they’re only in there twenties and early thirties. That’s incredible," Method said. “Even if the GRAMMYs didn’t recognize it, the world does. Period. We are the influencers of the culture.”

Method and Kevin’s conversation didn’t stop there, from discussing his legacy to his role on the hit show Power. Hear it all and more in the episode above.
