"Hip-Hop Atlanta is Hip-Hop to me, that’s what I know," Jeezy declared, when asked how ATL has impacted the genre. “I’m talking from the Edward J mixtapes to the Dungeon Family, to Lil Baby, to T.I.P., to myself. There’s just always something about what we do with our sound… It’s organic, its not like we tryna be nobody else but us, the south.”

He also clued us in to his favorite Hip-Hop track. “I was just listening to it in the car, ‘Can I Live’ by JAY-Z, phenomenal,” he said about his go-to song.
