Happy birthday to Cardi B! In honor of the reality star turned rapper turning 29 today, we're celebrating her ascending to the next level -- from rapper to fashion QUEEN!
Ever since she's stepped on the scene on Love and Hip Hop so many years ago, she's been proven to be one of the greats, and while back then, fashion wasn't at the forefront of that list, or even on it at all, she figured it out rather quickly and is now most definitely #StyleGoals.
From popularizing "Red Bottoms" in her debut single "Bodak Yellow" to her love of the "Balenciagas that look like socks" from her single "I Like It," there have been archival pieces, plunging necklines, colorful pantsuits, and lots and lots of feathers. Cardi been staying busy turning heads and setting trends — most recently by giving us LEWK after LEWK at Paris Fashion Week (despite what the haters say).
So, in honor of the rapper's 29th birthday, we picked 6 of her most iconic looks ever. And while yes they're numbered, they are not ranked, because that's just honestly asking too much.

Serving up Botticelli's Birth of Venus realness, featuring a seashell-like skirt, strands upon strands of pearl detailing, and a shimmery scale-like bodice. This look was a true work of art.
2.It's giving Cher (iykyk)

Cardi showed up to the 2019 Met Gala and said, 'I'm here to make a statement, and you betta listen.' Not literally, but Designed by Thom Browne, the comforter-like drama eleganza dress screamed upon arrival. How could it not? Look at that TRAIN.

Dang! 2019 was really her year because once again, Cardi killed it, this time in Chanel, front row at the 2019 Paris Fashion Week show no less. Rocking two bold black and white patterns, Cardi wore a classic Chanel tweed pantsuit and matching fedora, and finished off the look with a houndstooth coat.
5.Pink and Plunging

Cardi rocked this hot pink number by Nicolas Jebran to the Clive Davis 2020 GRAMMY pre-party and you can pretty much bet all eyes were on her. Seriously, this is just a pic and we dare you to try and look away. CAN'T!
6.Another Mugler Moment

Nobody had more fun at 2021 Paris Fashion Week than Cardi B. And while all her looks were très chic, this one's kinda IT. Kicking off the week's festivities at the opening of the Thierry Mugler, Couturissime exhibition at the Musée des Arts Décoratif, the rapper stunned on the red carpet in this elaborate Fall 1994 look from the Mugler archives.
