Kendrick’s Lamar’s highly anticipated fifth studio album Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers is finally here! The long awaited project follows his acclaimed Pulitzer Prize-winning DAMN, released in 2017.

Five years later, Lamar returns with another thought-provoking full-length LP, which also serves as his final release for Top Dawg Entertainment. Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers spans 18-tracks, split into two parts. Featured collaborations include Kodak Black, Summer Walker, Ghostface Killah, Thundercat, Baby Keem, Sampha and Blxst. Moreover, production credits include Pharrell, The Alchemist, Beach Noise, Boi-1da, FNZ and many more.

The album covers cancel culture, relationship woes, fatherhood, infidelity, family disputes and addiction. Lamar addresses his 2021 comeback on “Worldwide Steppers,” referring particularly to his appearance on Baby Keem’s GRAMMY-winning “Family Ties.” Prior to “Family Ties,” he didn't release a single since 2018. Lamar also blatantly references the COVID-19 pandemic that impacted the world on “N95.” Throughout the album, Lamar is lyrically transparent. Evidently each song has its own theme.
