Ever since a paparazzi snapped a sneaky pic of Travis Scott’s security guard literally handcuffed to a briefcase with the word Utopia written across it, people are extra curious about La Flame’s latest project.

Travis, who’s been teasing the project more and more these days, recently spoke about the meaning behind the LP's title, giving a detailed explanation for his cover story interview with Pin-Up magazine.
"Utopia is something that people feel is so far-fetched and out of reach, some perfect state of mind,” Scott explained. "But you create it yourself. There are people who achieve utopia every day. They may not be the richest people with the dopest cribs, but it’s a utopia wherever they are, and that’s the most you can have.”
He continued, "with every album I live in these worlds in my mind. I’m trying to show people experiences where utopian things can exist, and you can enjoy yourself and have a good time. They can create energy that spews out magical things. New cures, new buildings, new avenues for people to move forward. People need to see that utopia is real.”
Signs that Utopia is headed our way have been occurring more frequently. He first updated fans with news of the release back in February saying he planned to drop the album following releases from his Cactus Jack artists.
Then, more recently, during a visit with his hometown baseball team the Houston Astros, Scott gave a sneak-peek of his new album to the entire team.
"Live from Utopia. It's on the way now, Mark,” Travis told Fox 26 News' Mark Berman during his appearance. "I had to come down here and play Utopia for the boys down here in the lock room. Had to get them right before the game.”
