We don't think ANYONE enjoys pumping gas- especially in Chicago!
The "Gas Station Attendant Act" was proposed last week by state Rep. Camille Lilly, a Democrat from Oak Park.
Under the proposal, which would start January 1, 2021, customers would no longer be allowed to pump their own gas- the pumping would need to be done by a gas station attendant.
The act was meant to bring up the issue of safety and discuss convenience at the gas pump.
The bill is being reviewed by the rules committee.
