The National Guard has made its way to Chicago.
Mayor Lori Lightfoot made the announcement Sunday in response to rioting and looting over the weekend in parts of the Windy City. Lightfoot says the Guard will consist of a "small contingent" with a "limited presence." Lightfoot went after those who are intent on causing harm. She said, "You should be ashamed of yourselves."
The 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. curfew will stay in effect.
