Restaurant/Bar Owner of Big Onion Hospitality , Erik Baylis, talks with The Ed Lover Morning Show about how the current climate is impacting him as a business owner and what he's doing as a leader to keep his staff afloat.

Erik Baylis owns many Chicagoland restaurants such as Fatpour, Hopsmith, Woodies, The Irish Oak, Centre Street Kitchen, and Brunch. As we know bars and restaurants were closed as of March 16th leaving MANY with no jobs. Erik talks about how he is dealing with being an owner during this time and how he is ensuring the best for his employees. 


In the first part, he shares how he's personally dealing with everything that's going on right now and how he's managing his employees at this time. 

In the second part, he explains what life after COVID19 looks like in the restaurants, lets us know what we can do to help restaurants at this time, and helps us remember WE ARE IN THIS TOGETHER. 

Not only is Erik a restaurant/bar owner, he is also the President/ Co Founder of "Never Had a Bad Day"  foundation which supports families affected by pediatric cancer, and help with day to day essentials & bills.
