"Our country is at a boiling point over the crisis of racism and police brutality."

- Shaun King, Civil Rights Activist

Open your eyes. There have been too many instances across the "Land of the Free," the United States of America, where a constant abuse of power against people of color is tolerated; with minimum to no repercussions for the person doing the injustice. This cannot, should not and hopefully, with the success of peaceful protesting, WILL NOT be accepted any more.

Take a listen to this brutally honest show open from Ed Lover, explaining why people have reached their boiling point:

You can make a difference. Per Change.org:
Officials arrested former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin on Friday for the murder of George Floyd. Chauvin was the officer caught on video with his knee pressed into Floyd’s neck. Floyd, who pleaded "I can’t breathe" as witnesses captured cell phone video, died. But Chauvin only faces third-degree murder charges. Allie and thousands of others believe this charge is too weak. Allie started this petition to demand that Chauvin face higher murder charges. They need your signature now to send an urgent message to prosecutors.
He is guilty. What he did was premeditated/planned because it’s well known that the chokehold is deadly. Raise the degree. This is first-degree murder. People of color will not be silenced by this system any longer.
