House Of Pain’s Danny Boy, real name Danny O’Connor, snapped a selfie alongside actor Leonardo DiCaprio as the two were hanging out at the house from The Outsiders. The 1983 film starring Matt Dillon, C. Thomas Howell, Patrick Swayze, Ralph Macchio, Tom Cruise, Rob Lowe, and Emilio Estevez was filmed in Tulsa and is currently the home to The Outsiders House Museum.

“Like I always say… You never know who’s going to stop by The Outsiders House Museum. Great seeing you my friend after all these years. Stay Gold,” O’Connor captioned his Instagram post.

There’s a bit of a backstory here as to how the two ended up at The Outsiders house. O’Connor is a massive fan of The Outsiders and purchased the home that was the primary set of the film for $15,000 back in 2015.

He bought the house unseen and had to oversee an extensive amount of restoration before any renovations could begin on the property. O’Connor’s main goal was to turn the house into a museum that would give fans the chance to see the primary set from the iconic film.

It took several years of fundraising (with a $30,000 boost from Jack White in 2018) and work before O’Connor was able to open the museum in 2019. O’Connor and his renovation team aimed to ensure that the house would appear as it did in the film.

Along with preserving the home and giving a real life recreation of the set, the museum also features an extensive amount of memorabilia used in the film and behind the scenes.
