Simone Biles will not defend her Olympic title in the Gymnastic all-around competition. Gymnastics on social media speculate that Simone is suffering from "the twisties," a slang term for when the internal hitman gyroscope goes haywire making gymnasts lose their bearings while flying thru the air.
Jade Carey will replace Simone and rep the USA with Sunisa Lee in the all-around on Thursday. More info is HERE
Simone may still compete in individual events. She will decide after undergoing a second medical evaluation.
